Korean Noodles

Grabbed some noodles with black bean sauce in Korea Town. Actually I don't know what it is but
thats my guess is. Haha. I know its just DAMN good and worth the drive. I usually do quick sketches here while waiting for the food. They had the usual generic paper mats like in so many eateries but today the restaurants got some new fancy paper mats with texture on them. Good teeth but hard to get details. Reminds me the paper textures in photoshop and painter.
The best paper mats I remember are from a place called Bill and Nada's Cafe. It had the proprietors Bill and Nada in the Center and all the U.S president from Washington to Clinton before the place went under a wrecking ball. I miss that place.

Nice sketch. Your presence at this fine establishment can only hasten its demise.

There are so many artists and so many artistic styles on the web. I really enjoyed checking out your web site and blog. You have a unique style and I admire the open spirit of your cartoons and illustrations of Peggy, Jason and Tucker. Are these models or just the names of the characters? You did a great job on painting the elegant costumes. This is really creative stuff . I love period costuming. It seems as I went down the web page scrolling to other areas, I encountered the art you produced at school when the art model was absent. I loved the drawings of your artistic classmates, as they struck a pose in the “Artist section”. That’s a real bunch of characters. This is a great site, please update the material. It’s really interesting stuff. We fellow artists wonder why you stopped blogging. Hope that you are well and that your art is flourishing.
